Mitiana Arbon
Co-Kurator Ozeanien im Übersee-Museum Bremen
Mitiana Arbon is the Oceania Co-Curator at the Übersee-Museum, Bremen. He holds degrees in Arts (Anthropology and Art Theory) and Pacific Studies (Museum Studies), and is currently completing his doctorate at the Australian National University (ANU). From2019-2021 he worked as an Archivist and Digital Officer for the Pacific Manuscripts Bureau. Mitiana has a keen interest in academic blogging and was a former subeditor for the Monsoon Project Blog and a research officer for the DevPolicy Blog. He has alsolectured and tutored into the ANU Pacific Studies programme (2018-2021). In 2019 Mitiana Arbon was recipient of the Wansolwarra Art Writers’ Program, UNSW Galleries and 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art, and the 2017 recipient of the 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art Emerging Art Writers’ Program.
