Chris Michaels is Head of Digital and Publishing at the British Museum. His mission is to embrace the potential of mobile, social and big data to transform the audience’s experience of the museum.
Chris was previously CEO at childrens‘ education mobile startup Mindshapes; Senior Vice President at the international media company Chorion; Digital Publisher at HarperCollins, and started his professional career in advertising. He holds a PhD in American Literature from the University of Bristol.
At the conference “Shaping Access” he will talk about the creation of immersive visitor experiences at the British Museum.
